Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to let you all know that Mike is being discharged from the hospital today! The surgeon was in to see him this morning and thinks Mike looks great. We just have to keep on eye on his temperature for any fever which can indicate infection. Mike is so ready to come home. It’s been a LONG 7 days!!
Please continue to pray for his complete recovery. Thank you Pastor Marvin & Betty, Walter & Wilda, Scott, Sarah, Lori, Cass, Vanessa & Dennis, Sheila, Aunt Freda, Ray & Sandi, Trina, Anne, Bethany, Tom & Linda, the 2 guys from Ray’s Bible study (sorry, I don’t know your names), Lori, and anyone else who I’ve mistakenly forgotten who called to check up on Mike and/or visited him during his hospital stay.
This was his first time in his lifetime to be hospitalized, and I know it brought him so much joy and comfort in knowing he has friends and family who care. It’s very humbling for me to realize that in just 6 months of living here, we have such wonderful friends with hearts like Christ. We are so blessed & promise to “pass it on!”
